Brad Pitt and George Clooney both want to play Professor Henry Higgins to Keira Knightley's Eliza Doolittle in a new adaptation of My Fair Lady. Oh my God! This is like Sophie's Choice!!!!
What's your vote? I'm gonna have to go with Clooney.
Ouch...although I like both of them and Clooney could probably carry it off, neither is really best for that role. It's much easier to picture Clive Owen as Higgins. Oh wait...John Cusack!
They're both hot, so for me it boils down to, 'who can do the accent better?' Because Henry Higgins without a perfect English accent would guarantee that it tanked.
I mean, gosh, it would be ridiculous, like having Kevin Costner play Robin Hood. Oh wait...
My vote goes with Mr. Clooney. He has the chops, he can sing and he is oh, so debonair...love those graying temples!! Come on, Brad Pitt? He's way too pretty! Maybe he could be Eliza. :)
oh yeah, clooney wins. pitt has no class.
ReplyDeletei love them both... but george seems to fit the part.
