Ioanonline.com reports that Captain Hornblower and his girlfriend, Brit actress Alice Evans, attended the opening of the Stone Rose lounge in West L.A.'s Sofitel hotel on June 21.
A tragic case of ill-timing! Kim and I were there only two days later (mostly mocking people, truth be told -- the place is tres lame.) Still, had we but known that the aura of Ioan still lingered in the cheesy bar's atmosphere, we might have stayed a little longer than the 40 minutes we graced that place with our presence... Might we be subconsciously stalking him? (Always a possibility.) -- Amy

ReplyDeleteWell, I won't dress it up as anything it wasn't. I spent some time in London a few years back. I ended up going to some charity theatre sort of do. It was before he was famous, I think. Anyhow, I was introduced to a few actors and he was one. Can't remember any details. I also met Ian McKellan, Tony Hopkins and Nigel Hawthorne that night. I felt all glamorous and sexy for a brief moment.
ReplyDeleteI saw him once at a restaurant but he was wearing an unfortunate wife beater. Also, the fact that my boyfriend was with me made long, lingering stares in Ioan's direction seem wholly inappropriate. -- Amy
