Sense & Sensibility
Mr. Bingley is swell and all, but when it comes to Pride & Prejudice, it's all about the Darcy. Sense & Sensibility, on the other hand, presents us with two very different (but equally worthy) gentlemen to root for. I, myself, am a "Colonel Brandon" girl. Who are you partial to? Unfortunately, I'm a sucker for bad boy Willoughby all the way... Especially as played by Greg Wise.
I believe I had some Brandons in my day that I turned my nose up at, Marianne-style...("He's too nice!") I appreciate them more as I've matured. Happily, I think I ended up with a combo of all three men in real life.
What are we going to do about our Greg Wise addiction? Mmm, just thinking about him in the Buccanneers makes me swoon.
i wouldn't have thought of it myself, but when i heard that hugh grant was playing edward, i thought: perfect! it wasn't a nice thought. i didn't particularly like edward, or hugh grant.
but he managed to make edward sexy, so now ... well ...
